Embracing its mission to enhance the value of Union Membership and support a stronger labour movement In 1992, Local 506 established a Scholarship Program to assist our members’ children who are enrolled in either a University or College. With tuition costs skyrocketing, these scholarships support students pursuing post-secondary education in fulfilling the educational dreams of our members’ children. In 2009, Local 506 created a second program for the purpose of awarding Bursaries to children entering or enrolling in either University or College. We are pleased to provide this service to our Members.

Look for the 2011 cholarship Application it will be sent by regular mail in the spring of 2011.
